I take this course in Q3 during my first year at Twente. It’s kind of a niched continuation of the RPCN course, where we focus on LiDARs. I think I will like it.
I will learn about different kinds of laser scanning, point cloud processing (classification and segmentation), error sources and corrections.
Covered topics so far
- Aerial Laser Scanning (ALS)
- Terrestrial Laser Scanning (TLS)
- Mobile Laser Scanning (MLS)
- Point Cloud Segmentation Practical
- Point Cloud Segmentation, Point Cloud Segmentation with Segment Anything (SAM)
- PointNet
- Point Cloud Classification
- Building Detection and Reconstruction
- Real-Time LiDAR Point-Cloud Moving Object Segmentation for Autonomous Driving
