I'm a Software Engineer who graduated from Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (2020-2024). I enjoy challenging myself constantly by implementing things from scratch as it allows me to thoroughly understand the process.

- University of Twente — I’m currently undertaking a 2-year Master’s in Robotics. I aim to specialize in Computer Vision and Multimodal AI as a whole with focus on perception algorithms combined with AI and ML.
- Update: Curious of Edge Computer Vision as I believe it’s the future.
- Currently searching for an internship to write my Master’s Thesis.
What I’ve worked on in the past
A lot of my time went into...
- SeaClear — Developed a multi-camera pose estimation module to automatically compare real-time pose estimates (ArduCam) against ground truth (GoPro), visualising ROV drift over time.
- I’ve been a Software Engineer at Bosch for 3 years in the Model-Based team. I have successfully automated the regression test using Python and MATLAB and I also worked with SIMULINK mathematical models (basically simulating cars).
- My bachelors thesis is the most significant project I have completed so far. I developed a Kalman Filter-based sensor fusion system that combined camera and IMU data to estimate the Visual-Inertial Odometry (VIO) of an RC car.
- Visual-Language Models for Object Detection and Segmentation is a good example of how I approach a new research topic with no prior experience. Through this project, I developed a strong foundation in the field, which I later expanded through the Generative AI and Foundation Models courses. As a result, I now have significantly more experience working with VLMs.
- Analysis and Prediction of Stock Market where I improved my knowledge of ML and AI, having implemented all the algorithms from scratch (PCA, LSTM, Gradient Descent, QR Decomposition).
